1. The reasonable connection of the roof flash receiver of the building has the form of needle, net and belt. Lightning rods are usually provided at the corners and top positions that are susceptible to lightning strikes. In the construction process, it is necessary to pay attention to the reasonable connection of the needle, net and belt and whether the lightning protection belt constitutes a closed loop; Whether the pins, bands, and bands are properly connected to the support card. Due to safety reasons, modern buildings are equipped with parapets or protective railings around the roof, which are the places where lightning strikes are preferentially connected, and special attention should be paid to the installation method of their lightning connectors.

The connection method of the needle and belt of the parapet wall in the lightning protection facilities of many new buildings is relatively dangerous and has potential safety hazards. In addition, in flammable and explosive places, try not to use clip-on connection between the lightning protection belt and the support card on the roof to avoid spark gaps.

2. The lightning arrester should adapt to the requirements of the lightning shock wave on the wave impedance, and the corresponding lightning arrester should be installed on the metal circuit in the lightning protection project, and its original concept lies in the voltage limitation and shunt, which many lightning arresters can do. Therefore, the energy coordination of the arrester, as well as the number of arrester stages required in the lightning strike risk assessment, need to be considered. However, as an important indicator of the success of the lightning protection project, it is defined in whether the internal structure of the arrester and its connection and grounding wire are ideal for the lightning shock wave impedance, which is often less considered.
